Types of Contributions: there are three types, i.e., research articles (between 5000 and 8000 words), research notes (between 2000 and 3000 words), and book reviews (maximum of 1000 words).
Language of Contributions: English
Manuscripts: manuscripts should be written as accurately as possible in every aspect including Grammar and are to be typed in single-spacing on one side of an A4 size paper with the use of 12 Times New Roman font. Manuscripts should be submitted in duplicate for consideration. Each manuscript will undergo a review and comments of editor/referee will be made available to the contributor without disclosing the referee’s name. In case of accepting the manuscript for publication in the Sri Lankan Journal of Human Resource Management (SLJHRM), two copies of the manuscript must be submitted together with a diskette (Windows Microsoft Word). Abstract: each research article or research note must be accompanied with a brief abstract words of which may be between 150-250. The abstract must essentially state research problem, objective (s), the methods employed, findings and their implications.
Key words: there must be key words given after the abstract. A minimum of three words is required.
Abbreviations: for the first citation, full journal terms/words/titles must be given in the article/note/book review. Accepted abbreviations or acronyms may be used for subsequent citations.
Contributors: full names, positions held, qualifications, experiences, addresses, and e-mail addresses should be provided by the contributors to the Editor.
References: references should be checked carefully. The contributors should be responsible for the references wholly and solely. Single spacing (in italic letters) should be applied to a direct reference. The style of referencing should be as follows:
